Simonida Rajcevic biography

BIOGRAPHY

Simonida Rajčević was born in Belgrade on 2nd of April 1974, where she has completed her primary and secondary education. In 1992 she enrolled into the University of Fine Arts in Belgrade and received her Batchelor’s Degree in 1997 and completed her Master’s Degree1999 under the mentorship of professor Momčilo Antonović. She received the University’s best drawing award on her first year of study. She was awarded with DAAD scholarship for post-graduated studies in 1997/1998. She spent her first year of postgraduate studies in Berlin as a guest student at the KUNSTHOCHSCHULE BERLIN – WEISSENSEE, under the mentorship of Professor Inge Mahn. She is a member of ULUS (Artist’s Guild of Serbia). Since the year 2000, she is an assistant to the professor Čedomir Vasić at the University of Fine Arts in Belgrade.

BIOGRAFIJA

Simonida Rajčević rođena je u Beogradu 2. aprila 1974. godine. Osnovno i srednje obrazovanje završila je u Beogradu. Diplomirala 1997, a 1999.godine magistrirala na Fakultetulikovnih umetnosti u Beogradu. Na prvoj godini studija dobila je godišnju nagradu FLU za crtež. Dobila je DAAD stipendiju za prvu godinu postdiplomskih studija u Nemackoj 1997/1998. Kao gost - student provela je prvu godinu postdiplomskih studija u Berlinu, na KUNSTHOCHSCHULE BERLIN – WEISSENSEE. Član je ULUS-a od 1998. godine. Od 2000. godine radi kao asistent na Fakultetu Likovnih Umetnosti u Beogradu.
